We’re making a documentary film! Have you ever wondered why people upload instructional videos to YouTube with no promise of fame or compensation? "The Domestic Machine" looks at the boomer women who have created free knitting video content and all the Millennials and GenZers who have learned from them despite vast differences in location and lived experience. Now is the time because many of these women are - in their own words - “old ladies” and their contribution to online craft communities is essential in the bigger story of knowledge, education, craft, and the internet. Donation incentives are available including associate producer credit and much more!
