ANNOUNCE: Technobiological Futures Co-Laboratories Programme

We are super happy to announce (has already started a bit in February) our upcoming Programme on Technobiological Futures Co-Laboratories. A series of events, workshops, gatherings, hack-camps, bringing together artists, hackeris, musicians, makers, and curious minds…

Mutual learning and knowledge exchange with shared fascination with biology, from ecological science to synthetic biology merging with digital technologies. Linking the Global Hackteria Network & SGMK (Swiss Mechatronic Art Society) with tomorrow.Lab in Thailand and a network of partners in Southeast Asia and India, “Technobiological Futures” emphasizes DIWO participation and experimentation across diverse perspectives through networks of people across disciplines.

We have such an amazing and still growing network of partners accross the globe! Thanks to all the effort, trust and entusiams that has been put into this!

The “Technobiological Futures” programme (February 2026 — August 2027) is a multi-phase initiative spanning Thailand, Switzerland, Indonesia, and India. Co-funded by “Synergies”, by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, the Co-Laboratories catalyse South-South collaborations that bypass traditional North-mediated routes, building sustainable networks for art-science-technology exchange across the Global South.

While we have already secured this amazing funding from Pro Helvetia, we are now seeking to add more financial support to our our programme to make all of this a successful event, and maintain longer sustainabiliy for our practices and networks. Please help us to fund interesting foundations, donors, sponsors!

And today the first Arai-eek Residencies are starting here in Chaing Mai!!!
