Hi everyone,
We are Open Innovation in Life Sciences (OILS), a volunteer-run, non-profit association in Zurich. We’re organising OpSciHack 2026, a two-day open-science hackathon, and would love to welcome people from the Hackteria community!
Under the theme “Less Waste, More Discovery,” participants will work in interdisciplinary teams on real-world challenges and develop practical ideas and solutions for more efficient, sustainable, reproducible and open research.
No advanced programming experience is required. We welcome participants from all backgrounds, disciplines and career stages. You can apply individually or as a team of 2–4.
